Hello and welcome to PuttOutHunger.org!

If this is your first time visiting, my name is Paul Lamison, CEO of Plamison LLC and founder of Putt Out Hunger. Our mission is simple but urgent: to fight child food insecurity in Northeast Ohio.

According to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank (GCFB):

“Many of our neighbors are making difficult choices—whether to buy food or pay for rent or utilities. They are the working poor who struggle each day to provide life's necessities for their families.”

Cleveland’s child poverty rate has consistently been among the highest in large U.S. cities, with 1 in 4 children in our service area living in poverty. In 2024 alone, GCFB served over 121,155 children—and with economic challenges ahead in 2025, even more families will need support.

As residents of Northeast Ohio, my team and I are committed to taking action. That’s why, in partnership with GCFB, we are hosting the 3rd annual Putt Out Hunger charity golf event. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have already raised nearly $15,000 in just two years—and we are determined to make an even greater impact in 2025.

This year’s event will bring together over 100 golfers, sponsors, and donors, all united in one goal: to fight child hunger.

Our mission is to Increase the awareness of child hunger in NEO that will reduce the number of children whose available daily food does not meet their needs. We will achieve this through education and donations. Our path is an inaugural golf event that allows learning and growth which will be built upon in future years.
